- TAS::57 3404::TAS ARRA XUMU 06-1189B, Replace HVAC Units & Controls at AAFES BX, fully funded by Recovery Act. The scope of work for this project to replace HVAC Units & Controls at AAFESS BX in building 10400, VAFB, CA includes: Removing existing pneumatic controls system/components.; Provide and install a new HVAC control system per the attached design; Removing and replacing AHU-1 to include the chilled/hot water coils, actuators, valves, dampers and associated equipment; Removing and replacing AHU-2 to include the chilled/hot water coils, actuators, valves, dampers and associated equipment; Removing and replacing AHU-3 to include the chilled/hot water coils, actuators, valves, dampers and associated equipment; Removing and replacing RF-1 to include all associated equipment; Removing and replacing AHU-4 to include DX A/C coil, Hot water coil, actuators, valves, dampers and associated equipment; Removing and replacing AHU-5 to include Hot water coil, actuators, valves, dampers and associated equipment. Contractor will Install a new A/C coil and condensing unit sized appropriately; Installing additional controls; Removing and replacing AHU-6 to include DX A/C coil, Hot water coil, actuators, valves, dampers, condensing unit and associated equipment; Removing and replacing AHU-7 to include DX A/C coil, Hot water coil, actuators, valves, dampers and associated equipment; Removing and replacing AHU-8 to include Hot water coil, actuators, valves, dampers and associated equipment; Removing and replacing all variable frequency drives; Removing and replacing all pumps; Removing and replacing all dampers; Existing chiller, boiler and ducts to remain; Installing fire detection devices as required. To include dampers and unit shutdown; Installing Block wall that matches the existing wall at facility, around the chiller with wooden gates; Air Balance all air handlers, and Balance all water lines.
