- DATE CHANGE: The Veterans Affairs New England Healthcare System (VISN 1) will host a Market Research Information session for ICU Clinical Information Systems (CIS), Anesthesia Record Keeping Systems (ARK), on July 16-17, 2009 in Building 61, Room 120 at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, 200 Springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730. CIS presentations will be scheduled for July 16th and ARK presentations will be scheduled for July 17th. THIS IS A CHANGE. This is the meeting that was originally scheduled for June 9-10. Due to other VISN activities, the VISN 1 Market Research Information session needed to be rescheduled. Vendors please note this is the last possible schedule change; many of the participants are clinicians and can not be away from their respective Medical Centers for extended periods of time or for multiple meetings. If you plan to attend and present information regarding products, please contact Cheri Wicks. The objectives are to obtain information pertaining to products of potential interest, and to understand clinical features and functions available in commercial offerings for Clinical Information Systems and Anesthesia Record Keeping Systems. Vendor presentations are limited to 30 minutes followed by a 30 minute question and answer session. VA physicians, nurses, other medical professionals, as well as VA IT and IRM professionals will pose questions during this time. Vendor questions will be limited to those previously submitted in writing and a written response will be provided. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This conference is a market research tool to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of the Market Research Information Conference attendance. The conference is for informational and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a solicitation for quotes and proposals, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a competitive contract. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in the FEDBIZOPPS. It is the responsibility of the potential source to monitor the FEDBIZOPPS site for release of any solicitation or synopsis resulting from this conference.
