Description
Revised - 5/22/09 SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic intends to issue a commercial FAR part 13.5, solesource contract, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source,to Rugged Systems, Inc. doing business as Core Systems, 13000 DanielsonSt., Suite Q, Poway, CA 92064, a small business, for the purchase of onehundred seventy-six (176) 11390-1U001.01 1U CPUs and one hundred thirty-two (132) 11390-4U001.01 4U CPUs. We have the requirement for a completeturnkey integrated Small Board Computer (SBC) with an integrated SATAcontroller on the SBC, a specific chip set configuration and Passive Backplanewith a very specific CCA slot configuration. The units have to be 19 inch rackmountable in a specific mobile case. The unit must come with the rackmountable slide rails which will fit a custom rack that is mounted internal tothemobile cases. No substitution hardware will be accepted. The hardware listedhas a proven performance based configuration, has been formally operationallytested and accepted, and has existing logistics support in place. The delivery requirement is 14 days ARO from issuance ofeach delivery order. A Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/IndefiniteQuantitycontract is anticipated, for a base period of one-year and two one-year optionperiods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)Code is 334111 and the size standard is 1000 employees. This notice ofintent is not a request for competitive proposals.
