Description
The US Army Contracting Command 410th Contracting Support Brigade, The Americas, Miami Office, intends to award a contract for the services of an Exercise Planner with responsibilities for the USSOUTHCOMs AI/PI (AVIAN INFLUENZA/PANDEMIC INFLUENZA) and infectious disease exercises. The secondary function will be to support ES-Health and S&I Plans with the development of USSOUTHCOM AI/PI policy, plans and integration of mitigation strategies into USSOUTHCOM Crisis Action Planning in the event of an AI/PI outbreak. This request for proposal (RFP) will identify the specifications for this requirement found in the Performance Work Statement. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded around 15 July 2009 timeframe. This contract shall consist of a 12 month base period with one 12 month option period to follow. A firm fixed price basis shall be used for this acquisition. The contract will be awarded as a best value acquisition. Evaluation factors will be Price, Past Performance, and Technical Acceptability.
