Description

The Siuslaw National Forest is seeking an interpretive planning company to prepare an interpretive plan to guide redesign of permanent Visitor Center exhibits. The planning process will focus primarily on the Visitor Center. The main focus of this process is the basic interpretive plan, where project goals, objectives, themes and major statements of significance for the permanent exhibits and the primary theatre piece will be developed and agreed upon. The completed product will be used to stage to the next phase of conceptual and final exhibit design and fabrication. Media descriptions or exhibit design are beyond our current objective and scope of requested work. This project is located at the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center on the Central Coast Ranger District, Siuslaw National Forest, Lane County, Oregon. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. Offers are due by close of business on June 30, 2009. Contract time is 120 calendar days. Estimated start work date is July 27, 2009. The solicitation packet will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about June 9, 2009. This project is set-aside for small business.
