- NASA/GRC intends to purchase these items from GE Inspection Technologies. Per FAR13.106-1(b) (1) Only one source and no other vendor can provide the require Bore Scope,Probe, Tip and Lamp as these must be interoperable with existing equipment. TheGovernment intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 333314.NASA/GRC has a requirement for quantity of 1 each BORE SCOPE, BORE SCOPE PROBE, BORESCOPE TIP AND BORE SCOPE LAMP meeting the specifications as outlined below:System LevelThe Video probe system must be capable of using the GE Inspection Technology XLG3 opticaltip adapters for 3.9 and 5.0 mm probes. The video probe system must delivers sharp,high-resolution images and video for a wide range of applications from turbine engineinspection to large vessel examinations. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government. Submissions must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to thisCenter, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (ifapplicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any specialcommercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.
