- RECOVERY THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS ADVERTISED AS A 100% HUBZONE BUSINESS SET ASIDE- RESTRICTED TO HUBZONE BUSINESSES ONLY. THE UPCOMING ACQUISITION WILL FALL UNDER NAICS 237110, WATER MAIN AND LINE CONSTRUCTION WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $33.5M. This project includes providing all materials, equipment, and labor required to install new 20" PVC pipeline at Saratoga National Fish Hatchery, Carbon County, WY, as per drawings and specifications that will be attached to the upcoming solicitation. The work includes capping and abandoning the existing 20" steel water pipeline in place. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE Prospective bidders are highly encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader. Site Visit information will be listed in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION The project will be solicited using SEALED BIDDING process through the issuance of an Invitation for Bid (IFB), with the intent to award a firm fixed price contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder as determined through a thorough responsibility determination as per FAR 9.104. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The total performance period is 120 days from the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation package (IFB) is anticipated to be available electronically on or about 10 JUNE 2009 to all HUB Zone Businesses with an anticipated closing date of 9 JULY 2009. Copies of the solicitation, specifications, and drawings can be obtained at http://www.fedbizopps.gov once available for issuance.
