Description
Sole Source Letter Travis Air Force intends to award a sole source order for one year accreditation fees to American College of Surgeons for continuation of National Surgical Quality Improvement Project (NSQIP). This program provides quality metrics which can be used to initiate process improvements projects and ultimately improve the care of surgical patients throughout the medical center. This is the only program of its kind available for open civilian and DOD participation, The program offers the unique capability to collect, analyze, and compare data on surgical outcomes with other participating hospitals. The accreditation includes the ability to review all sites' surgical outcomes. Participation will allow safety, quality care, and credentialing issues throughout the surgical services if the medical center. The program affords David Grant Medical Center the opportunity to meet JCAHO requirements. All interested parties may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NAICS Code 813920, Size Standard $7,000,000, SIC 8621 and FSR R409 applies. Period of Performance: 10 Aug 09 - 09 Aug 10 This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-31 dated 14 May 09, and Defense DCN 2009-0115 dated 15 Jan 09 and AFAC 2009-0318 dated 18 Mar 09 The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1: Price, 2: Technical Acceptability (Ability to fulfill JCAHO requirements, ability to meet existing access requirements of David Grant Medical Center and other sites currently in use of the program).
