Description
RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO DEERE AND COMPANY UNDER GSA SCHEDULE CONTRACT GS-06-F-0083S. The Corps of Engineers Susquehanna River Projects strive to maintain an adequate and efficient fleet of equipment to provide proper maintenance of projects using the efficiency of available equipment and a limited workforce. Small remote projects with limited manpower require proper equipment to maintain the grounds and keep the roadways and driveways clean and clear of snow. This purchase will be used from early April until October for maintaining the lawns and then utilized throughout the rest of the year for various tasks such as cleaning up debris, moving gravel deposits, stone, etc. During the winter months the tractor will be used for snow removal as needed. In order to complete the above tasks, the Susquehanna River Project is replacing its current tractor at East Sidney Lake, NY with a John Deer 5085 tractor complete with a 563 Farm Loader utilizing ARRA funds. In seeking the best value for the government, the current tractor purchase in 1996 will be traded in for a credit on the new purchase. There is only one responsible source in the area due to a unique capability provided. No other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Please submit any questions to kevin.j.cook@usace.army.mil
