What: USJFCOM JWFC Industry Information Day; Theme: JWFC Future Joint Training Support; Date and time: 13 June (Saturday) 2009 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM; Event details: Keynote Speakers and Small Group Information Meetings; Location: Joint Warfighting Center, 116 Lake View Parkway, Suffolk, VA 23435.GENERAL INFORMATION. An Industry Information Day will be held on 13 June 2009 between 8:30 AM and 1:00 PM at the U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) Joint Warfighting Center (JWFC), 116 Lake View Parkway. The purpose is to begin the process of market research for future joint training support requirements. The briefings are open to all in private industry who are interested in the next generation of joint training support services and contracts. The event provides an open, public opportunity to discuss preliminary requirements information with industry. The goal is to obtain feedback and suggestions in the form of "White Paper" ideas and possible solutions and capabilities regarding the Government's forthcoming competitive acquisition documents for various joint training support follow-on efforts. Following brief opening remarks and an overview of the JWFC mission, the respective Program Directors and Group Chiefs provide general descriptions of their future support requirem! ents. After the briefs, separate break-out sessions will afford members of industry the opportunity to ask additional questions germane to their areas of interest. A reading room will be provided for review of planning documents, such as joint training event schedules. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a pre-solicitation conference or a solicitation. It should not be construed as a request for unsolicited proposals, nor as a commitment by the Government. The intent of industry information day is for market research purposes only. Information exchanges are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents should note that the government will not return any information submitted in response to this notice. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents attending the Industry Information Day. Any information provided by the Government will be only information that is equally available to all interested parties. Attendance by all interested parties, including small businesses, is strongly encouraged. REGISTRATION. Federal contractors (large and small) who are interested in USJFCOM JWFC joint training support contracting opportunities are encouraged to attend. Contractor registration will be submitted via the link: https://www-secure.jwfc.jfcom.mil/NLE1/index.jsp. Registration should be completed by no later than 4:00 P.M. EDT on 10 June 2009. The limit for any one company is five representatives due time and space restraints. SECURITY. As a security precaution, parking for industry guests will be in the overflow parking lot on the left side of Lake View Parkway (after Applebee's Restaurant) as you approach the JWFC compound. Please do not bring any portable electronic devices into the compound (e.g. cell phones, Blackberries, beepers, thumb drives, recorders, and cameras). Security clearances are not required. All briefings will be at the UNCLASSIFIED level. Event badges will be provided during the check-in process at the Security Building prior to entering the compound. These badges must be worn and clearly visible in the USJFCOM JWFC facility. A government-issued picture ID must be shown to check-in.
