- RFP SPM4A7-09-R-0896 is hereby replaced with RFP SPM4A7-09-R-1118. All other terms and conditions remain the same. Please use RFP SPM4A7-09-R-1118 for all correspondences. Project Number is IQC09117009013 for National Stock Number (NSN) 2840-01-216-3815 to procure a Shroud, Stator for Weapon Systems ENGINE, AIRCAFT F404 (F/A-18 A-D). This is an Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a Base plus 4 (1-year term option periods) requirement for a total Estimated Annual Quantity of 1908 each. FOB Destination I/A Origin. The Government's required delivery schedule is 553 DARO with Contractor First Article Testing and Production Lot Testing requirements. The OEM Mfg of this item is General Electric (CAGE: 99207) with two approved sources of supply Ferrotherm Corp (CAGE: 01993) and UNC Johnson Technology, Inc (CAGE:26199) in accordance with Part Number 6050T37G02. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to this procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. This procurement is Unrestricted. Other than Full and Open Competition procedures applies in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) FAR 6.302-1). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is an Export Control Item and Configuration Control Applies. A copy of this solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
