- Description
- Recovery Act - VAMC Hampton, VA is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business who has proven experience in nurse call installation to complete Recovery Act Fire Alarm Replacement at the VA Medical Center, Hampton, VA. Work will include but not limited to electrical trade. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision for this project. All work shall be completed in accordance with all Federal, State and OSHA regulations. This procurement is 100% set aside for service disabled veteran owned small businesses. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210 with a small business size standard of $14.0 M. This is a competitively negotiated project. The contract will be awarded using Best Value source selection process full instruction will be included in the solicitation package. Award may be made without discussions. Firms will submit two proposals, one will address technical capabilities (including proof from the surety of bonding capacity and evidence of past performance). The prime contractor must have been involved directly with the project (performing actual on-site work in addition to Supervision). The second proposal shall address pricing. All work shall be completed within 365 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. This includes final inspection and clean up. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The specifications will be uploaded on/about June 11, 2009; the proposal due date will be on/about July 13, 2009. The solicitation document and drawings shall be downloaded off www.fedbizopps.gov. Telephone requests or questions will not be honored. Pre-proposal conference will be held on June 24, 2009 at 10:00 AM no other visitation opportunities will be available. All questions shall be submitted in writing no later than June 30, 2009 in writing, questions will be answered via amendment in writing and publically announced.
