RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY REQUIREMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA), PUBLIC LAW 111-5. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO A PRESELECTED AND PREQUALIFIED 8a CONTRACTOR ALLOWED UNDER section 8(a) of the Small Business Act and FAR Part 6.302-5 Authorized or required by statue. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Office (CGS) in Atlanta, Georgia has a requirement at the Regional Office in Atlanta, Georgia for temporary non-personal acquisition support services related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The purpose of the work is to support the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Contracting and General Services (CGS) primarily in the procurement but not limited to new construction, repair, maintenance, A&E services, and other professional services. Contracting methods and types include but are not limited to firm fixed-price contracts with base year and option periods, design-build construction contracts, Performance Based Acquisitions (PBA), purchase orders, task orders, and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. Our goal is to have experienced acquisition professionals available on an as needed basis to conduct all phases of Contract Specialist duties that are not considered to be inherently government functions. Per FAR 7.503 (12) all inherently governmental functions will be conducted by warranted U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Contracting Officers.
