Description

FedBizOpps Notice - Dyed ULSD Attachment A - Clauses The DHS PIADC, under the Department of Homeland Security, seeks approximately 409,000 gallons of Dyed Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD), non-road or tax exempt fuel with additive (algaecide) each year to support the fueling of PIADC’s fleet of marine vessels, trucks, heavy equipment and buses. The Dyed ULSD Fuel should be good commercial grade typical of product marketed in the greater Long Island market. The Plum Island Animal Disease Center is located on Plum Island, New York, approximately 1.5 miles from the eastern end of Long Island’s North Fork. In June 2003, operational responsibility for PIADC was transferred from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate. Dedicated to the advancement of knowledge related to and technology for the control and eradication of foreign animal diseases, PIADC is a unique research facility whose mission includes the development of vaccines, performance of diagnostic testing, and implementation of various applied research projects. PIADC is a secure U.S. Government facility.
