GENERAL INFORMATION: Document Type:Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number:8AZ2128-A Posted Date:May 28, 2009 Original Response Date:April 24, 2009 Current Response Date:June 19, 2009 Archive Date:July 4, 2009 Classification Code:X—Lease or rental of facilities CONTRACTING OFFICE ADDRESS: General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (PBS), Real Estate Acquisition Division, 300 West Congress Street, Tucson, AZ 85701 DESCRIPTION: The General Services Administration (GSA), is interested in leasing approximately 11,791 rentable square feet of contiguous office and related space yielding a minimum of 10,253 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet (previously usable) and thirty-eight (38) secured and reserved parking spaces. Visitor and employee parking must meet at least the minimum code requirements of the local jurisdiction. Parking located on site or within a two block radius may be considered. Only space located above the ground level will be considered for this requirement. TENANT:Department of Justice (DOJ) LOCATION: Offered properties shall be located within Central Business Area of Tucson, AZ defined by the following boundaries: (Northern Boundary) West Ina Road from Silverbell Road along Ina Road easterly, veering onto Skyline Drive and then onto Sunrise Drive to N. Kolb Road; (Eastern Boundary) N. Kolb Road from Sunrise Drive southerly, becoming N. Sabino Canyon Road to E Tanque Verde Road, easterly along E. Tanque Verde Road to N. Pantano Road and southerly along N. Pantano Road to E. 22nd Street; (Southern Boundary) E. 22nd Street from N. Pantano Road continuing westerly along 22nd Street, which becomes W. Starr Pass Blvd to S. Mission Road; (Western Boundary) S. Mission Road which becomes S. Grande Avenue to W. Speedway Blvd, westerly along Speedway to Silverbell Road and northerly along Silverbell to W. Ina Road. LEASE TERM: The lease will be for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm. REQUIRED: Any offered buildings must be of sound and substantial construction, of a type generally recognized as modern, office space. The space shall be altered to meet the Government’s requirements, shall have a fully serviced rent structure, shall be fully accessible in accordance with ADA standards, and shall conform to applicable Life Safety Performance Level of RP 6 (seismic standards). Offered space must be located above the ground floor and contiguous. Offered space must not be within 1000 feet of a residential area or residences, schools, daycare centers, hospitals, family clinics, medical offices, churches or other houses of worship or public service agency offices.
