Description
Brand name justification for using the Motorola Brand This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2R0F19126AC01 is hereby issued as a Request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation will be awarded under FAR Part 13. The small business set-aside has been dissolved for this acquisition and will be an unrestricted procurement under North American Industry Classification System code 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31, effective 20 April 2009 and Class Deviation 2005-32 and the Defense Federal Acquisition (DFARS) Change Notice 20090115 CLIN 0001: Radio, Handheld. Motorola XTS-5000 Model III UHF handheld radio, OTAR, OTAP, 9600 Baud, Trunking Capable. Must meet the following specifications: 1) Frequency Range: 406-420 MHZ; 2) Capable of interfacing with Motorola SmartZone UHF Trunking System; 3) Must be programmable at the base/installation level. Must be capable of supporting Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption in accordance with Air Force Instruction. Qty: 10 Ea CLIN 0002: Battery, LMR. Battery for Land Mobile Radio. Must be compatible with Motorola XTS-5000 handheld radios. Motorola P/N NTN8294, P/N NTN8294R, or P/N NTN 8923. Qty: 10 Ea CLIN 0003: Charger, Battery, LMR, Charger for Land Mobile Radio. Motorola P/N WPLN4108BR or equivalent for 6 bay multi-unit charger. Qty: 1 Ea Delivery on or before 30 Jul 09. Provide FOB Destination pricing It is the offeror’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.
