- The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this Sources Sought Synopsis for information only to locate sources who are capable. MacDill AFB, requires Suitcase CCT120 Antenna Systems. The following salient characteristics must be met: Terminal will be of modular design capable of being configured in Ku or X band. Minimum reconfiguration time between bands will be less than 3 minutes. Will have an auto acquire capability. Electrical: - Input voltage: 90-264VAC-Auto Sensing - Input Frequency: 45-63Hz - Output Voltage 48VDC Ku Band RF Performance: Ku band Min EIPR @ saturation 57.8dBW Min G/T @ 20o elevation 21dB/K@11.8GHZ Polarization X-pol linear, co-pol Min Polarization Range 1900 Transmit Frequency 13.75 - 14.5GHZ Receive Frequency 10.95 - 12.75GHZ X band RF Performance: Min EIPR @ saturation 54.0dBW Min G/T @ 20o elevation 14dB/K@7.GHZ Polarization Circular, reversible Transmit Frequency 7.9 - 8.4GHZ Receive Frequency 7.25 - 7.75GHZ Modem Type iDirectR Modulation BPSK,QSPK,8PSK Data interfaces LAN A and LAN B Physical: Not to exceed Dimensions 26.4 x 17.7 x 11.8in when stowed for transport Not to exceed Weight 94.8lbs with Ku option installed Min Operating Temperature -32C to +50C Cases Must be able to be meet IATA standards for airline checkable SET-UP Maximum time 5 minutes Required Tools None This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 PM EST on 1 June, 2009. Such information will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar items described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business), business size based on NAICS 334220, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government will not pay for any information submitted, or for any costs associated with providing the information.
