Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. There is no solicitation available at this time. This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Stewart, Georgia is seeking qualified sources capable of performing routine and non-routine maintenance and repair to six platform scales located at Fort Stewart, Georgia and three platform scales located at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. Contractors shall have 811219 among their approved NAICS Codes. The Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, travel, equipment, supplies, instruments, parts, equipment, and services which are necessary to perform these services. The Contractor shall perform four routine inspections within the required contract period at approximately ninety day intervals. Routine inspections include adjustments, testing for accuracy repairs, calibration, and cleaning, as well as replacing printer ink ribbon upon each routine inspection, in order to maintain equipment in optimal operating condition. The Contractor shall calibrate all equipment annually at time of the first routine inspection and subsequently calibrate this same equipment whenever it is found to be outside standard acceptable percentages of accuracy. Contractor shall be responsible for any non-routine repairs that may be required during or after normal working hours and must have qualified personnel available on call, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for notification of non-routine calls. Such non-routine repairs must commence within 24 hours. Routine preventative maintenance shall also be performed as required. All interested Contractors have 5 days from the publication date, 29 May 2009, of this synopsis to submit their companys information. This information must include business size and evidence of capabilities and experience in the criteria above.
