Description
The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract for the supply of one Twin Disc marine gear for delivery to Norfolk, VA under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The requirement will be unrestricted. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 423860. The delivery period is within approximately 20 days following contract award. The anticipated award date is on or about 23 June 2009. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is N00189-09-T-0293. The RFQ, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. The RFQ will be posted to this website. The RFQ will be available on 29 May 2009. The NECO website has a "submit bid" button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the "submit bid" button on NECO to submit your proposal. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Government. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.! gov. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award.
