Description

Optional Form 612 Amendment 1 The position is for a Team Leader in the Office of Food for Peace. The candidate will work under the general supervision of one of the two geographic Division Chiefs in FFP, and is given wide latitude for the exercise of independent judgment. On a day-to-day basis, he/she is expected to independently plan and implement programs. As a senior expert, the Team Leader is expected to play a leadership role on emergency food aid in the office and the food aid community, and will be responsible for some of the office’s most difficult food aid assignments marked by inter-connected technical, programmatic and politically sensitive issues. He/she will work with senior Bureau and Agency leadership, and have significant responsibility and decision-making authority.
