The project will include the following: the correction of specific safety device deficiencies related to each of the three WBVA boilers as identified by the VISN-wide Boiler Plant Inspection audit. The intent of the project is to upgrade aged parts/systems related to the boilers that will ensure safer and more reliable boiler operation. Services required are for site investigation, design development, preliminary drawings, construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction period services. The A/E will work with VA Project Manager to develop phasing plan, prioritization of items, and budgetary costs per phase of specific repairs and maintenance.
