- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services, within a Four-mile radius and within two walking blocks of a direct bus route from the halfway house, located at #24 West Industrial Loop, Midland, Texas 79701. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on October 1, 2009 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2014. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 65: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 10 inmates = 10 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 65 inmates = 1,560 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 65 = 4,680 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 15 = 180 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 4 inmates = 4 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 10 inmates = 10; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 10 inmates = 240 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 10 inmates = 120 units; Psychotropic Medication as prescribed per inmate; Medication Monitoring 6 units per inmate for 10 inmates = 60 Monitorings. Option Year One: Estimated number of inmates 68: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 11 inmates = 11 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 68 inmates = 1,632 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 68 = 4,896 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 16 = 192 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 4 inmates = 4 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 11 inmates = 11; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 11 inmates = 264 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 11 inmates = 132 units; Psychotropic Medication as prescribed per inmate; Medication Monitoring 6 units per inmate for 11 inmates = 66 Monitorings. Option Year Two: Estimated number of inmates 71: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 12 inmates = 12 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 71 inmates = 1,704 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 71 = 5,112 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 17 = 204 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 4 inmates = 4 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 12 inmates = 12; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 12 inmates = 288 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 12 inmates = 144 units; Psychotropic Medication as prescribed per inmate; Medication Monitoring 6 units per inmate for 12 inmates = 72 Monitorings. Option Year Three: Estimated number of inmates 75: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 13 inmates = 13 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 75 inmates = 1,800 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 75 = 5,400 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 18 = 216 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 13 inmates = 13; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 13 inmates = 312 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 13 inmates = 156 units; Psychotropic Medication as prescribed per inmate; Medication Monitoring 6 units per inmate for 13 inmates = 78 Monitorings. Option Year Four: Estimated number of inmates 79: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 14 inmates = 14 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 79 inmates = 1,896 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 79 = 5,688 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 19 = 228 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 14 inmates = 14; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 14 inmates = 336 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 14 inmates = 168 units; Psychotropic Medication as prescribed per inmate; Medication Monitoring 6 units per inmate for 14 inmates = 84 Monitorings. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated March 2009.
