Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. VA Illiana Health Care System, Danville, Illinois, is performing pre-solicitation market research to determine potential Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small businesses interested and capable of performing the required construction services for VA Project 550-09-114, Renovate Surgical Service. The renovations will take place at the Danville VA Medical Center, 1900 East Main Street, Danville, Illinois 61832. Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment to perform all work necessary to "Renovate Surgical Service" as detailed on the contract drawings and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to general construction, demolition, electrical, flooring, mechanical, plumbing, alterations necessary removal of existing structures and construction, and certain other items as indicated on the contract drawings. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The performance period is 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS Code for this project is 236220. The size standard is average annual receipts of $33.5 million or less for the preceding three years.Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than June 5, 2009. No telephone inquires will be accepted. Responses should include the following information: 1. Company Name, 2. Address, 3. Point of Contact, 4. Phone number and e-mail address, 5. Confirmation that the firm is a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business, and 6. DUNS Number. This sources sought notice is not a Request for Proposal and is for market research purposes only in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All interested parties will be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business concerns failing to respond to this notice will not be precluded from responding to the solicitation. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. Further information will be posted to FedBizOpps at http://www.fbo.gov as it becomes available and potential bidders will be responsible for monitoring the site for solicitation documents and/or amendments.
