Description
This amendment revises the Selection Criteria to include separate factors for the Facility Management and Sanitation Facilities Construction Services Architect-Engineer Services. FACILITY MANAGEMENT SELECTION CRITERIA: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in all applicable aspects of improvements and remodeling of hospitals, clinics, health stations, health centers, staff quarters, and other health-related facilities, including experience by all disciplines in design, construction methods, and system design for cold, rural, and remote locations; (3) Geographical proximity of design firm and consultant(s) principal office(s) to the project location; (4) Demonstrated expertise and experience in working as a team with listed sub consultants/subcontractors and ability to effectively manage multiple firm teams; (5) Capacity to respond and accomplish the work in the required time; and (6) Demonstrated past performance in the last three (3) years on comparable projects with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality control, and compliance with performance schedules. SANITATION FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION SELECTION CRITERIA: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in all applicable aspects of water supply, wastewater disposal, solid waste disposal and other health-related facilities, including experience by all disciplines in design, construction methods, and system design for cold, rural, and remote locations; (3) Geographical proximity of design firm and consultant(s) principal office(s) to the project location; (4) Demonstrated expertise and experience in working as a team with listed sub consultants/subcontractors and ability to effectively manage multiple firm teams; (5) Capacity to respond and accomplish the work in the required time; and (6) Demonstrated past performance in the last three (3) years on comparable projects with government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality control, and compliance with performance schedules Potential A-E firms may submit the Standard Form (SF)-330, "Architect-Engineer Qualifications," for one or both of the A-E Services. The Billings Area Indian Health Service (IHS) reserves the right to award either a single Indefinite Delivery Contract or multiple IDC contracts subsequent to the evaluation process. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
