- DESCRIPTION: The Fargo Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) is soliciting proposals to provide storage, maintenance and delivery of durable medical equipment to patients located in North Dakota, eastern South Dakota, northwestern and southwestern Minnesota, northwestern Iowa and northeastern Nebraska for a period of one year from the date of the award (with four (4) one-year options exercised at the government's discretion) in accordance with all specifications, work statement, terms and conditions contained therein. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency/capability to perform services and satisfactory past performance record. The Government anticipates award of two commercial firm-fixed price indefinite delivery contracts to the responsible offerors whose offer provides the best value to the Government. One contract will support the Sioux Falls (SD) VA Medical Center and the other will support the Fargo (ND) VA Medical Center. Anticipated release of solicitation (request for proposals) is June 16, 2009 with proposals due on July 16, 2009 and contract effective date of Oct 1, 2009. This procurement is unrestricted and open for full and open competition (NAICS 532291/$7 million). Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and complete registration in the Central Contractor Registration and ORCA. No telephone requests will be accepted. Amendments issued for this solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
