- NAICS Code: 541620 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of International Affairs (OIA) intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), to: Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC)393, rue St-Jacques OuestBureau 200Montreal (Quebec)H2Y 1N9 Canada The purpose of this award is to purchase sponsorship at the CEC Trinational Council meeting to be held on Monday, June 22, 2009 and Tuesday, June 23, 2009 in Denver, CO. This sponsorship will provide the benefit of interpretation services for Council and EPA attendees. Three teams of French, Spanish, and English interpreters will be provided, as well as specialized audio visual equipment and video streaming services for live webcasting. The CEC is the host of the Trinational Council meeting, and as such, is responsible for providing interpretation services for the Council sessions. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, which if received within seven (7) calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
