- Description
- "U-Shaped" Table Description Furniture List Edited 01 June 2009 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SOLICITATION #: F3G2AE9093A001 This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request For Quotes NAICS: 423210 - Furniture Merchant Wholesalers This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. SBA Size Standard: 100 Employees Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV requires a contract for: Purchase, design/layout, and installation of office furniture for the new AMXS Aggressor F16 hanger. See attached product list for description of items to be purchased. Amendment 5: Question and Answer List Will any furniture be placed in the vault or the COSO cage? If so, please specify what furniture will be placed in those areas? - Yes, the COSO Cage will contain two rectangular desks, two hutches, two chairs, and one bookcase --------- I am working on your quote for the Stanley-Vidmar workstation qty of 3 but the model number A-8 is not a model, it is a line of cabinets. I need full specs with measurements for the top and the cabinets. This is a made to order custom line of workstations and I can not quote it without full measurements. - The left pedestal should be 30" wide x 27-3/4" Deep x 33" high with 5 drawers. Drawer 1 useable depth 2-1/4", drawer 2 3", drawer 3 3-7/8", drawer 4 5-3/8", drawer 5 8-1/2". The right pedestal should have the same dimensions with 4 drawers. Drawer 1 useable depth 3-7/8", drawer 2 6-1/4", drawers 3 and 4 7". The top must be 1-3/4" thick solid hardwood and be 84" long x 28 1/2" deep. The riser shelf should be 15" high x 12" deep x 84" long with a full back panel, 7 electrical outlets spread evenly under the shelf against the back panel and end stops along the back and both sides of the shelf. ------------- Will you accept an open door, non-locking TV cabinet for the Conference area? - No. We must have a lockable TV cabinet to deter theft of electronics. -------------- Was it determined if the pedestals need to be keyed to have the same key number per each person's station or is random keying okay meaning others may have the same key number in the pedestals? - Each desk/workstation must be keyed to have the same key number per person's station/desk. -------------- There is a discrepancy in the furniture list. The APG room has listed 5 desks, but only 4 high back chairs, is this done intentionally? If not, please specify the correct number of chairs and desks. - The APG office should have 5 desks and 5 high back chairs. *** The attached furniture list has been edited to reflect this change. ------------- Also Note: There was some confusion regarding the "U-Shaped" Conference Table. At the site visit, the customer specified that he wanted a "U-Shaped" table with either a rounded or an angled edge. The customer did not want three rectangular tables put together to resemble a "U-Shape." For clarification purposes I've attached a sketch of the type of "U-shaped" table that the customer had in mind. Please note that the sketch is not drawn to scale and is meant only as an approximation. Amendment 4: The response deadline for this solicitation has been extended to Monday 08 June 2009 at 12:00 pm PDT, in order to allow for enough time to answer all the questions that were asked. Amendment 3: The response deadline has been extended to Tuesday 26 May 2009 at 12:00 pm PDT. The following changes were also made to the attached furniture list: The microwave hutches are no longer needed and were thus removed from the list. Amendment 2: Changes have been made to the attached furniture list. All previous copies of the furniture list are now obsolete. For the most current furniture list, view the attachment titled "Furniture List Edited 7 May 2009." The requested changes to the furniture list are marked in red. Amendment 1: Questions and Answers 1. Is there an onsite dumpster for trash? No 2. Does Nellis AFB have cardboard recycling and will they stage a dumpster for the install? No Note: The contractor is responsible for disposing of any cardboard/trash as a result of the furniture installation. 3. How many floors are in the building? 2 floors 4. Is there an elevator?
