- Description
- This project consists of relocating an existing 50’ steel railroad car bridge on the Gros Ventre River to a site just upstream of its present location to serve as a temporary bypass, installing cast-in-place concrete abutments & wingwalls and a new 70’ modular weathering steel bridge that will overspan the existing abutments, install crushed aggregate base and a 3” thick bituminous wearing surface on the bridge and approaches, install metal beam approach railing, install 4 type-3 object markets and remove the temporary bypass to a site on the adjacent private property. The project is located on the Jackson Ranger District, Bridger-Teton National Forest, Teton County, Wyoming. The contract time will be 180 calendar days. Offers are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, July 17, 2009. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 25, 2009. Interested vendors shall meet at the Bridger-Teton National Forest Supervisors Office at 340 N. Cache in Jackson, Wyoming at 10:00 am. The solicitation will be available on approximately June 16, 2009, and can be downloaded from this site at that time. All responsible vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
