- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to contract for carpet Installation and removal services at SSA Buildings located in Baltimore County and Baltimore City, MD. This is a 100% set-aside for SBA certified HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than SBA certified HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238330. The size standard for this NAICS code is $14 million. SSA anticipates awarding one indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity contract for this effort. The period of performance will be for one (1) year with four one-year option periods, if exercised. The performance period for this effort is expected to begin on or about September 10, 2009. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about June 8, 2009. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for June 17, 2009. The RFP will be issued under solicitation number SSA-RFP-09-1061. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. The solicitation and any related documents for this procurement will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
