- The VA Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, California intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Olympus America, Inc. to provide to provide support, electronics, maintenance, and services to Twenty-Eight GI Video Endoscopes, One GI Specialty Endoscopes, Two Endoscopic Ultra Sound Scopes and Twenty-Six ElectronicsThe anticipated contract will include a base year with two year options. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Authority applies when supplies or a service required by the agency is available from one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. The equipment on lease with Olympus carriers a warranty that require services only by Olympus America Inc.. Services by any other vendor would render the warranty void. This notice of intent is not a request for competition proposal, and no solicitation will be made available. All inquiries should be made within 7 days of this notice.
