- This notice is being posted as an avenue to provide Invitation for Bid W912HN-09-B-0023. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.202 (a) (13), Exceptions to publicizing contract actions, there will not be a pre-solicitation notice posted for this required action. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for construction prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a 100% set-aside for HubZone Small Businesses and is solicited under NAICS 236220. The small business size standard for this NAICS is $33.5 million. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-32. Summary of Requirement: The Wilmington District of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers requires clearing, grading, concrete slab pouring, and steel work area assembly. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to the performance of this requirement in accordance with the attached scope of work. The magnitude of this project is estimated to be less than $25,000. Provisions and clauses incorporated in this invitation for bid are listed in the attached SF1442. In accordance with FAR 52.212-1(k), prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the CCR database prior to award. If the Offeror does not become registered in the CCR database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer (NLT due date/time of solicitation), the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror.
