- SF 1449 The Government is soliciting for a prefabricated Greenhouse to include the erection of said greenhouse. This is a combined synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 15 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. Commercial Item Provisions, 52.212-1, 52.212-3 (must be completed by vendor and submitted with offer), 52.212-4, and 52.212-5 are part of this solicitation – full text can be found at www.acnet.gov. Delivery date is no later than 60 days after award. Email or faxed proposals will not be accepted. The award will be made to the responsive and responsible Contractor offering the lowest bid on Line #1 if within government estimate or Line #2 the Alternate greenhouse bid if Line #1 is above the government estimate. Contractor may bid on 1 or both options. Only one of the greenhouses will be purchased. Pricing is to include all overhead and profit. Price shall include freight and installation. Vendors must be registered in the CCR in order to receive award. A pre-award survey will be conducted prior to award. Vendor must provide three references (including name, phone number and email) no more than three years old. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 332311. GREEN HOUSE SPECIFICATIONS Vendor to supply all supervision, labor, equipment and materials to provide and install the following: LN # #1: 20’ wide x 60’ long corrugated polycarbonate Dynaglass Clear (or equivalent) greenhouseTotal cost: ____________ #2 – Alternate (ALT.): 20’ wide x 40’ long corrugated polycarbonate Dynaglass Clear (or equivalent) greenhouseTotal cost: ____________ Lines #1 and #2 will be designed within local building codes; have a wind load of at least 120mph; gutters; sidewall height of 8‘; 2-42” wide by 80” tall steel insulated ADA doors with panic bars and lever hardware; end walls will be framed with 2” x 3” galvanized steel tubing. Heating Equipment: 1-ADP –SEP100S Heater (propane); Temperature Differential 40; Heat Hangers; Heater Stacking – double wall heater stacking; Heaters are to be equipped with stainless steel exchangers and burners as well as intermittent pilot and power ventors. (ALT. 1-ADP-SEP145S (Propane Heater). (Brand name or equal.) Ventilation: 1 each - MAL36J (one speed) ½ HP and 1 each - MAL36j (two speed) 1/3 HP exhaust fans. (ALT. 1 each MAL30H (one speed) 1/3 HP, 1 each MAL30H (two speed) 1/3 HP exhaust fans.) Brand name or equal. Air Circulation: 2 each Acme (brand name or equal) horizontal air flow fans. Evaporative Pad Cooling System: 50 feet of 4” thick x 18” tall Kool-Cel system (brand name or equal) backed by a rigid vent operated by a Wadsworth VC100A ILS/LST motorization (brand name or equal). (ALT: 40 feet of 4” thick x 18” tall Kool-Cel system (brand name or equal) backed by a rigid vent operated by a Wadsworth VC100A ILS/LST motorization. Pads: 4” Kool-Cel Pump: #20 Little Giant Pump Sump Tank: 95 gallon (ALT. 50 gallon) Environmental Controls: Contractor to provide and install Wadsworth StepUp Controller (or equivalent) with contactor panel, with job specific wiring diagram and sensor. Covering Material: Roof, Sidewall and Endwall covering will be Dynaglass Clear or equivalent. All extrusions and hardware to attach covering materials per factory recommendations are to be included. Accessories: Exterior Shade: 1320 sq. ft. of OL550, 50% shade cloth complete with perimeter tape, grommets and hardware to install. Cloth will cover the roof of the 20 x 60 greenhouse roof only. ALT: 880 sq. ft. of OLS50, 50% shade cloth complete with perimeter tape, grommets and hardware to install. Cloth will cover 20’x40’ greenhouse roof only. Motorized Shade system is not included. Irrigation: Not included. Delivery/Installation: Contractor is responsible for the delivery, unloading and erection of the greenhouse at the PMC, including erecting the building and installation of all equipment. Power and control wiring (inside and outside), water and gas plumbing is not included.
