Description
SOURCES SOUGHT/MARKET SURVEY NOTICE for Fire Fighting and Damage Control Training This sources sought notice sets forth the requirement for providing turnkey live-fire Fire Fighting and Damage Control Training course(s) to Navy personnel stationed in the Pacific Northwest (PACNORWEST) Fleet Concentration Area (FCA) (Seattle, WA area). The contractor shall provide the personnel, supervision, management, materials, fire fighting training facility and instructional technology needed to conduct training of students in the course(s) described in the draft SOW paragraph 3.1 Table A. Table A identifies, for each course, the class length in terms of class days and estimated annual throughput. The actual number of convenings and students per class are subject to change. Award will be made in the form of a single award contract to one technically acceptable responsible offeror. A firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, is anticipated for this effort with a Period of Performance of five (5) years. The Government anticipates contract award in the 3rd Quarter FY 2010. To access the draft SOW, click in the 2nd drop-down menu and select “Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice”. Click on the link titled “Fire Fighting and Damage Control Training”, which will allow you to download the draft SOW. All further information regarding this notice will be posted to NAWCTSD Orlando Business Opportunities website. Please visit the NAWCTSD Orlando Business Opportunities website for any updates. Responses should include a rough order of magnitude (ROM) price, a narrative identifying the scope of past and present (within the last 3 years) relevant experience on similar contracts, indicating if it was in the U.S.A. or in foreign country (include dollar value, complexity and point of contact), a description of capabilities to perform the subject effort, any comments on the draft SOW, and any alternative approaches to filling the subject requirement. Potential sources must identify their business type (i.e., small business, large business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) certified business, woman-owned business, etc). For purposes of reporting business size, the applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 611519 with a size standard of $7 million.
