Description
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) intends to procure a solution that will connect all FERC telecommunications and video conferencing within a single IP network and provide unified desktop communications through a single desktop software interface. The work to be performed includes implementation of any new hardware, software, and services required to deliver a fully functional solution. Prospective Offerors are invited to submit proposals in response to this solicitation in accordance with the instructions contained in the solicitation documents located at: http://www.ferc.gov/about/offices/oed/oed-proc/FERC09-RFP-91048.asp. The solicitation is comprised of the following documents: 1. FERC09-RFP-91048 Solicitation 2. Exhibit No. 1: Section C- Statement of Work 3. Appendix A: Current FERC Architecture (Note: document will be provided to prospective vendors upon signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement, to be signed no later than June 05, 2009) 4. Appendix B: IP Phones Features and Users 5. Appendix C: Instructions for Submission of Section 508 Documentation 6. Appendix D: Section 508 Technical Assistance 7. Appendix E: Section 508 Evaluation Template 8. Appendix F: Past Performance Questionnaire 9. Appendix G: Small Business Sub-Contracting Plan 10. Appendix H: Service Level Agreements (SLA's) 11. Appendix I: Configuration Change Request/Notification Procedure Manual (Note: document will be provided to prospective vendors upon signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement, to be signed no later than June 05, 2009). The Government intends to award a single contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose proposal, conforming to the solicitation, represents the best value to the Government. FERC will conduct a walk-through at Headquarters on May 19, 2009 at 10:00am. Prospective Offerors shall notify the contracting officer of their intent to participate in the walkthrough by no later than 3pm ET, Friday, May 15, 2009. Interested parties should submit any questions or requests for clarification concerning this request for proposals to the Contracting Officer, Shirley Ruiz-Lundgren, via e-mail at shirley.ruiz@ferc.gov no later than 3:00pm ET May 26, 2009.
