- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ITEM 1: (6000 each) Meals will be complete with the following items: Main Entree (3/4 lb) that can be heated by individual soldier, food heater, a water packet to start the food heater, side item such as applesauce or canned fruit, cookies, raisins, breadstick and a canned beverage (12 oz). Meal kit will also include a utensil package with spoon, napkin, salt & pepper, crushed red pepper and salt free seasoning. A variety of lunch/ dinner meals packed in each case. This meal must be self sustaining to support soldiers in the field training. ITEM 0002: Shipping to 68524
