SYNOPSIS W912EQ-09-R-0033 Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: AR03 RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This is a notice of intent if the US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District to negotiate a sole source award with Leno Dredging & Hauling Inc., 6600 NW 27th Ave., 119 Miami, FL 33147-7220. The work consists of clearing of snags, branches, live trees or other vegetative debris that prevents or inhibits navigation within the Ocklawaha and Withlacoochee Rivers federally maintained channels. This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that this acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency; specifically, FAR 6.302-5(b)(4) for sole source awards under the 8(a) program 15 U.S.C. 637(a) and in accordance with 13 CFR 124.1-1(c) and FAR 19.8.
