This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with or attached to this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; This Request for Quotation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses. Only offers received from certified small businesses will be considered for award. NAICS 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance / size standard of $6.5 million applies. A firm-fixed-price purchase order is the anticipated result of this effort. The government reserves the right to make one, multiple, or no awards resulting from this solicitation. The contractor shall pickup all cores and exchange of component ! assemblies at Marine Corps Logistics Command, Maintenance Center Albany, GA 31704. CLIN 0001: Provide overhaul of fourteen (14) 60 KW Generator Assemblies, Marathon Electric Manufacturing P/N 88-21009 IAW attached Statement of Work dated 8 Jan 09. CLIN 0002: Miscellaneous repairs required on an as needed basis. Generator Assemblies will not be sent in at the same time, period of performance projected through June 2010 or until all 14 assemblies are overhauled. The government will separate the generator housing from the engine, at which time the contractor will be required to pick up the generator housing at Maintenance Center Albany, GA 31704. Contractor must be an Authorized Marathon Service Center due to the fact that the Generator Assembly is a source controlled item.
