- The National Park Service intends to negotiate with Pierce Manufacturing Inc, 2600 American Drive, Appleton, WI 54915-9010 for one Type 1 Structural Engine with the custom built Interchangeability of the "tracks to tires" feature for Yellowstone NP. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service will satisfy the Agency Requirements. This notice is not a formal solicitation. This is not considered a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposals (RFP). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities within seven ( 7) days of this notice. Additionally, any response to to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantages to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
