- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for the "Correct Laundry Chute Deficiencies - OM" Project Number 636-09-110 at the Omaha Division of the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105. The main items of work include, but are not limited to, replacing existing laundry chute intake doors with UL listed devices and install an electric door interlock safety system in each of the two laundry chutes located inside Building 1. All work shall be performed in accordance with specifications, drawings and all applicable codes and standards. Solicitation Number VA-263-09-IB-00266 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about June 2, 2009. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit is tentatively scheduled to be held on June 9, 2009 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The Bid Opening is tentatively scheduled to be held on July 2, 2009 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 180 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimate of the total project is between $25,000 and $100,000.00.
