- ******* CONTACT JANET APPLETON ONLY FOR QUESTIONS OR QUOTES, CONTACT INFORMATION ISLISTED IN THE BODY OF THIS SOLICITATION BELOW**********NASA/MSFC has a requirement for 1" VJ LN2 pipe supply lines to supply multiple outlets insupport of James Webb Space Telescope at the X-Ray and Cryogenic Facility located at theMarshall Space Flight Center. The supply lines will increase productivity and eliminateexcessive LN2 usage. See the attached drawings with dimensions. The specifications anddrawings are linked above or may be accessed athttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. ]Vendor will also be responsible for on-site installation and shall perform a fieldpheumatic leak test on the completed piping system at 110% of the design pressure asrequired by ASME B31.3 standards.This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ).This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Delivery to Marshall Space Flight Center TBD. Delivery shall be FOB Destination.Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 6/12/2009 4:00 p.m. CST, and mustinclude, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule,discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), identification of any specialcommercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JUNE 2008), Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in theclause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall listthe country of origin.FAR 52.212-4 (FEB 2007), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable.
