- Description
- The Virginia Contracting Activity intends to issue a sole source award to Microcube Corporation. The contract will be made on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2) and FAR Part 13.501(a) - Sole Source Acquisitions. This notice is issued for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The Contractor shall provide the MDS-2 Sweeper System to support the Intelligence Community's efforts to provide a digitally controlled variable rate sweep over the 150 MHz to 3 GHz band. The MDS-2A RF Sweeper System with TS-10GH test sets and PPA-4 Amps is a required system that has the technical requirements and capabilities which coincides with existing equipment already in use in the field. Microcube Corporation is the only known source capable of fulfilling the requirements. Any interested party should submit a statement of capablities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met; no later than 5 days of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered soley for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
