- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE for Project ZHTV070014. This notice is NOT a synopsis or a solicitiation, but is posted to make businesses aware that a synopsis for this Invitation for Bid(IFB) will be posted on 2 June 2009. This RESTRICTED ACQUISITION is a set aside for HUBzone concerns. The Period of Performance is 180 days. NAICS CODE: 238210. Size Standard $14M This project is the replacement of transformers and Bus Duct for building 145, Area B. The 480 volt bus ducts from the transformers to the main switchgear in Bldg 20145 are leaking, allowing water to rust and deteriorate the bus duct and transformers. This project will replace four 124700-480 volt transformers and associated 480 volt bus duct, feeding Bldg 20145. The site of the work is Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Estimated Cost of Proposed Acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. NOTES: 1. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the web site www.fbo.gov. 3. There is no fee for this solicitation. 4. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 5. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 by the bid closing date, which is set for 4:00 p.m. (local Dayton time) on 17 July 2009. There will not be a public bid opening, however, bids will be tentatively opened on 18 July 2009. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be marked to show the bidder's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time proposals are due. 6. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. This is a WPAFB Construction Contracting (PKJ) program. The current status is Pre-Solicitation and it is a Category Z - Maintenance, repair, and alteration of real property program.
