- RECOVERY ACT. Project # R646-08-108, RECOVERY REPLACE MAIN PLUMBING SYSTEM (UD). This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). Furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, licenses and supervision for Project # R646-08-108, RECOVERY REPLACE MAIN PLUMBING SYSTEM (UD), at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive, Pittsburgh, PA in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Work includes but is not limited to: general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, main water line replacement, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Contractor shall include providing new hot and cold water mains, disconnect and re-route base of sanitary soil stacks, and providing new roof drains and associated rain conductors as shown on the contract drawings. Completion Time: 480 calendar days. Price range is $2,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. NAICS Code is 236220. The Solicitation is to be issued on/about June 30, 2009 (or sooner). Bidding material/drawings will be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov for downloading FREE OF CHARGE. The Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled on/about July 13, 2009 (or sooner) at 10:00 AM at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive, Bldg. 1, Room AN216 (Ground Floor), Pittsburgh, PA followed by a site visit. The Bid Opening date is on/about July 31, 2009 (or sooner). The above dates are subject to change.
