- VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is seeking consultant services to assist VA Healthcare Biloxi, MS Community Living Center change the culture from an institutional medical model to a resident-centered mode. The goal of this initiative is to transform the current delivery of care from the traditional medical model to a model that focuses on the Veterans holistic needs to improve quality of care and quality of life. This initiative will involve transforming the current Community Living Center culture to a resident-centered approach: empowering front line workers to help address issues related to the delivery of customized, high quality care; changing the environment to foster a homelife environment; and linking transformation of the Community Living Center culture to quality indicators. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541611. The request for Quotations (RFQ), number VA -256-09-RQ-0270, will be available on or about June 3, 2009. Questions concerning the Statement of Services must be addressed in writing and sent to the Contract Specialist by 10:00a.m. June 15, 2009. Quotations are due by 10:00a.m. June 19, 2009 to the VAGCVHCS, 400 Veteran Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39531.
