- Description
- Synopsis: The United States Agency for International Development in Jordan (USAID/Jordan) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a five-year Cost Plus Fixed Fee Term contract to provide an overarching framework to support the implementation of and capacity building for the development of Alliances and Public Private Partnerships (APPPs). U.S. interests lie in creating a fully liberalized economy through pro-private sector policies that create a level playing field for entrepreneurs. The program will support this goal, as well as provide the next step for the Government of Jordan (GOJ) as it completes its goals under privatization and looks toward the innovative use of APPPs to leverage additional funds for development. Building alliances with private sector actors will also allow the USAID Mission to capitalize upon additional opportunities to leverage non-US government funds, address cross cutting themes, and promote long-term sustainability. The total estimated value is between $19-28 million and anticipated buy-ins with a total estimated value of $ 22 million.
