Description
Please see attached for FAR clauses for services. Wage rates will be submitted to your location via seperate correspondence. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The request for quotation (RFQ) is HSCG33-09-Q-6TH004. The synopsis/solicitation constitutes a request for quotation (RFQ) and incorporated provisions and clauses as outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (see attached). This requirement is being solicited under full and open competition to provide Journeyman Rigger Training for 10 Coast Guard members in accordance with the attached scope of work. Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses and the Department Labor of Wage Rates for services are included in this solicitation and are applicable (see attached). The NAICS code is 611519 with a size standard of $7.0 million. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract. Anticipated award date: 20JUN09. This award will be based on best value criteria; whereas, technical approach/course material will be over price, therefore price will be the lowest factor when determining an award. All quotes shall be submitted with an electronic brochure and/or technical approach of the training offered. All quotes that do not accompany an electronic brochure and/or technical approach will not be considered. All quotes and support documentation shall be submitted to Greg Hermsen via email to gregory.m.hermsen@uscg.mil or via fax (206) 217-6732. All quotes shall be submitted no later than 3:30 PM (PST) on June 11, 2009.
