- This procurement is being funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), PL. 11-5 (February 17, 2009). Center Name: PHOENIX JOB CORPS CENTER Location: PHOENIX, AZ I. SOURCES SOUGHT – HUBZONE General Contractor for renovation and addition Design and construction of Building No. 2 men’s and women’s toilet room upgrades, Building No. 1 exterior painting, and Building No. 1 low roof and mechanical equipment access at the Phoenix Job Corps Center. Renovation work includes architectural, mechanical, and electrical work to upgrade the restrooms and meet handicap accessible compliance requirements. Total construction range is between $100,000 to $250,000. This work is planned to take place between August 2009 and August 2010. Response Date: June 11, 2009@3:00pm edt – NO OTHER INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE BEFORE THE SOLICITAION IS POSTED This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are HUBZone businesses with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. All interested HUBZone parties are invited to submit a capabilities statement to include three projects completed within the last five years that are relevant to the work that will be required under this project.
