- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR part 13.5 This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is N00244-09-R-0042. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-31 effective April 20, 2009 and DFARS Change Notice 20090115. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 336611 and the Small Business Standard Size is 1,000 employees. This is Total Small Business Set-Aside procurement. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego intends to request from qualified sources capable of providing maintenance and repair service for Synthetic Log Camel IAW the Statement of Work. The contract resulting from this RFQ will be a firm fixed price. The attached copy of the solicitation contains a complete description of the statement of work and applicable provisions and clauses. The government is seeking for new materials only. All responsible Businesses capable of meeting the requirements of the solicitation are encouraged to respond. The announcement will close on 17 June 2009 at 4:00 p.m. PST. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their copy of the solicitation and amendments.
