Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall reference solicitation number W911RZ-09-T-0229. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-31. Fort Carson intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for a one month rental of five passenger vans. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 532111. The Contractor shall propose the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): CLIN 0001 One month lease of five (5) passenger vans. The period of performance is 11 June 2009 10 July 2009. The vans shall have the capacity to seat 12 15 passengers with seatbelts. The vans shall have an automatic transmission and air-conditioning. All vehicles under this order shall be delivered no later than 12:00 p.m. on 11 June 2009 and picked up no later than 5:00 p.m. on 10 July 2009. The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating the repair and towing of any vehicle having mechanical failure.
