Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. This combined synopsis/solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code that applies is 517919 and business size is $25,000,000.00. This requirement is for a new OC3 circuit installation at the Arizona Air National Guard Base, 162nd Fighter Wing, 1500 E Valencia Rd, Building 1, Room 127, Tucson, AZ 85706. The contractor shall provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services necessary for design, purchase, configuration, initial installation and termination, testing and maintenance of fiber infrastructure and all associated multiplexing/de-multiplexing equipment required for OC3 circuit connectivity on the Arizona Air National Guard Base, 162nd Fighter Wing, 1500 E Valencia Rd, Building 1, Room 127, Tucson, AZ 85706. The contractor is additionally responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the operation of the circuit up to its termination point. OC3 service will be provided by Sprint. Please see attached for full Statement of Work. A site visit will be held at 8:00am Arizona time, Thursday, 11 June 2009 at the 162nd Fighter Wing, Arizona Air National Guard, 162nd Fighter Wing, 1500 E Valencia Rd, Building 5, Tucson, AZ 85706. Interested parties are urged and expected to attend to inspect the site and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect costs, to the extent that the information is reasonable obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after award. Terms of the combined synopsis/solicitation and specification remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing.
